Customer Support Specialist

Department: Technology Solutions
Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group is currently seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join our Technology Solutions Department in our Virginia Beach Office!

The Customer Support Specialist assesses and effectively manages inquiries from end users in the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of the values and practices that align end user needs with the goals of the organization and the ability to leverage that information in creating customized solutions.
  • Advise, educate and engage end user on a variety of technological tools.
  • Ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, with an awareness to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems.
  • Identify issues, analyze and solve problems affecting customer's software (Byte).
  • Respond to inquiries. Provide timely, intelligent and professional responses to customer calls and emails.
  • Clearly and concisely log and track details of solutions and maintain resolutions database.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a role that has a heavy concentration in customer service.
  • Experience in the Mortgage, Banking or Real Estate industry is preferred.
  • Conversational, patient and confident with a positive customer support attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills; demonstrated effectiveness managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willing and able to work in a collaboration with colleagues across different departments.
  • Strong listening/comprehensive skills.
  • Ability to stay composed and objective under pressure.
