Project Manager

Department: Technology Solutions
Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group is seeking a Project Manager for our Technology Solutions Department in our Virginia Beach office.

The Project Manager is a self-motivated and technically savvy individual who is responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage all project phases to include; initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
  • Create detailed project plans to include deliverables, activities, timeliness and budgets.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of multiple projects.
  • Ensure milestones are successfully met
  • Direct the project timeliness and budget.
  • Accountable for driving closure of all escalated issues either independently or through engagement of other stakeholders.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders through project changes, issues, risk or change management as needed.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Project Management Experience is required (we do not require certifications for this position)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation and facilitation skills. 
  • Collaborative approach to work. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Understand how to prioritize issues and backlogs of projects.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills for handling multiple and conflicting activities.
  • Commitment to being accountable for results
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
